St. Petersburg Shown to the Scotch

Cultural exchange activities between Russia and Scotland have recently taken place in Glasgow.
The city has opened two exhibitions of Petersburg artists in the framework of the 'cultural mission of St. Petersburg'.
The Russian cultural centre existing in Glasgow for 9 years features works by Nadezhda Anfalova. All the works - these are lithographs and temperas on canvass and paper - picture Russian nature and landscapes with churches, as well as St. Petersburg.
At the same time the William Barrell museum is hosting the exposition 'St. Petersburg in Photographs'. It presents works by well-known photographers from St. Petersburg, such as Vladimir Antoshenkov, Valentin Baranovsky, Leonid Bogdanov, Vladimir Egorovsky, and Alexandr Petrosyan.
When opening the exhibition John Grey, the official representative of the chairman of Glasgow council said that the exposition had made him feel as if he had really visited the city on the Neva River.
