This exhibition is part of Ira Golub's project Urbi et Orbi ("The City and the World").
The main theme of the project is urban metaphysics and legends. However, those are not limited to urban only. Sometimes interpretations of myths and legends, fairy tales and author's worlds appear in the artworks.
Here is what the artist says about their art: «The creation of paintings is a rather heterogeneous and ambiguous process. The presence of a visualization object is only an episode, and not always the primary one. Then comes wandering in the mazes of linear-plastic constructions. The color splits into separate facets of brushstrokes, which in turn sculpt the shape. This game sometimes fascinates and fascinates – and there is another picture as the flowing air freezes, limited by the space of the canvas...»
