The country's first cable car of the D-line system with 10-seater cabins was commissioned at the Rosa Khutor resort; it became the 30th lift there.

Its length is 2039 m, the height difference is 661 m, it can carry 2400 people per hour and move at a speed 6 m / s. This is the first in Russia cable car of the D-line series.

The concept of the lift provides for an increased level of comfort and safety for passengers. It is more spacious, equipped with a ventilation system, individual lighting, anti-slip coating and other options. The cabins are designed for transportation of people with limited mobility and baby carriages, equipped with special holders for skis / snowboards / bicycles. The control system of this ropeway provides operators with new opportunities to improve the safety and comfort of travel: monitoring the status of each cabin, weather conditions on each support, lighting control, loudspeaker control. This system also allows   tracking the entire history of the ropeway and greatly simplifies service.

The new cable car is located on the southern slope of the Aibga ridge and runs parallel to the existing Edelweiss chair lift. Skiers and snowboarders are very fond of skiing on this particular slope.
