Production of the Russian Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine will begin in Brazil in the coming days. This was reported by the press service of the pharmaceutical company Uniao Quimica (partner of the Russian Direct Investment Fund).
niao Quimica and RDIF have agreed to hold work events in Moscow from January 11 to send a significant number of Sputnik V doses to Brazil this month. We plan to make an emergency request in the coming days, since the pandemic requires all parties to act quickly, Uniao Quimica said. In early December, Sputnik V was presented at the UN. The cost of the vaccine abroad will be $ 20, or $ 10 per injection. Companies from China, India, South Korea, Brazil and Argentina will participate in the production.
