Living Beyond The Means

Ecologists have shown that in 2050 the amount of natural resources used by the mankind would require at least two planets for rehabilitation.

These are the conclusions made by researchers from the Russian department of World Wild Foundation and Global Footprint Network, which are based on the analysis for long-term data on Earths condition and human impact on the environment.

The most significant contributors to the damage of the Earths environment are United Arab Emirates, United States of America, Finland, Canada, Australia, Estonia, Sweden, New Zealand and Norway.

Due to its vast territories, rich in forests and water resources and relatively scarce population, Russia is among ecological crediting countries its biological capacity exceeds ecological trace value for over 50%.

Still scientists are unable to say how long said ecological balance will stay undisturbed.
