New Spanish Film Festival entitled The Week of Goya Awards started yesterday in the Central Cinema House, Moscow.
The program presents films honoured with the most prestigious national award, the Goya Award established by the Spanish Academy of Cinematographic Arts and Sciences in 1986.
The films to be demonstrated at the festival encompass quite a variety of genres and styles. Russian viewers have a chance to see works by Spanish film-directors not known in Russia yet. The visitors will also see films by Pedro Almodovar who is already quite popular in this country.
All the film demonstrations run in the White Hall of the Central Cinema House till November 24.
