Russia poses a serious threat to Estonia?

During an interview given to Eesti Paevaleht on Wednesday, December 6, the major-general Ants Laaneots said: Mildly saying, our neighbour is an Estonia-unfriendly country. Russia-Estonia relations are the biggest problem of our safety.
According to the major-general, in order to strengthen Estonian security, the country must carry out obligations put by the NATO and continue participation in international missions. Laaneots is sure that Estonia must rely on the system of collective security of the alliance.
The major-generals words are one of the links in the recent Estonian policy towards Russia. It wont be superfluous to remind that the other week Estonia considered the law equating Soviet symbolic with Nazi emblems.
