Year-round mountain skiing complex to be built in Moscow

It has been decided to build an all-season sports complex with mountain skiing facilities and slopes enabling visitors to ski all year round, not depending on weather and time of the year. The complex is going to be the biggest in the capital and will be located near Nagornaya metro station. The total territory of the complex will constitute around 2 million square metres.
The sports centre will also include a skating rink, rollerdrome, volleyball and basketball grounds, tennis courts, and an aqua park. Moreover, there will be built a hotel for up to one thousand persons, a parking, and a trade centre. The building process is likely to get started in 2008, and the complex is planned to open for visitors by 2012.
