Alcohol and pyrotechnics banned during celebration time

As it has become known, alcohol and pyrotechnics are going to be banned in places of mass promenade in Moscow during New Year celebrations. It will be prohibited to sell strong and light alcohol production in public places, plus the ban also spreads on any drinks in glass bottles. Moreover, Moscow authorities intend to not allow street sellers to off-load fireworks in inappropriate places and on the territories adjoining to the capital.
From December 29 till January 9 emergency brigades are going to be on duty round-the-clock. Besides, the authorities are also planning to toughen control over basements and garrets of houses in the city.
