Urals ski resorts beat Alps

In the run-up to the World Championship in Italy Russian national command of ski freestylers had to organize their training jumps in the Urals, while initially the trainings were planned to take place in Switzerland. However, Europe is not rich in snow this year, including the Alps, and even the Swiss command of ski acrobats, who always have their training in the Alps, had to leave the mountains.
According to scientists, the Alps are notably sensitive to climate changes. Even an inconsiderable temperature increase may cut the number of stable ski resorts in these mountains. Russian mountains are located farther to the north, but anomalous winter weather has reached them too. Though, Russian tour operators claim warm temperatures haven’t affected Russian ski resorts much.
