The jazz-modern dance school Cannon-Dance, Dance Film Association (the USA) and Institute PRO ARTE present the Fourth International Festival of Dance Film “Cinemadance”.
      
       The Festival program includes showing of the best dance films from video archives of various countries (Canada, the USA, Sweden, Holland, Germany, Australia, Scandinavia), master classes and lectures of professional cinema teachers and film directors, such as Alla Kovgan, Alice Kordon, Heriette Yastremski (the USA), Edward Lock (Canada), Anna-Karin Larson (Sweden), given for choreographers, dancers and cameramen.
      
       For the first time the competition of Russian dance films will become part of the Festival.
      
       The main Festival sites for film runs, master classes, lectures and performances will be the Alternative stage Station and PRO ARTE Institute.
      
       The project is being implemented with the support of the USA General Consulate in St.-Petersburg, Association of Russian Dance Theaters (Moscow), “Trust for Mutual Understanding” Foundation (the USA), and Museum of Cinema (Moscow).
