Heavy snow paralyzes Vnukovo Airport

Airport Vnukovo has temporary cancelled planes arrival due to the heavy snowfall which started this morning, January 25.
      At 10am the State Corporation of air traffic organization reported that aerodrome conditions and air picture were highly unfavourable; flight visibility was only 600 metres, consequently, planes` landing was temporary stopped.
      Moscow airports Domodedovo and Sheremetyevo have started to work in accordance with factual weather regime due to heavy snow.
      According to forecasters, the snowfall in the capital of Russia can be accompanied by strong winds with up to 17 metres per second speed. By the end of the day 9 cm of snow are expected to fall in the capital.
