Steel import to be examined for dumping

INTERFAX Ministry of Economy Development has started an antidumping probe regarding stainless rolled steel imported from EU countries.
       As the ministrys press-service informs, they started the procedure after considering the claim submitted by Chelyabinsk iron-and-steel works on behalf of Russian manufacturers.
       According to the information presented in the claim, the average price of stainless steel on the EU market was $ 1657 per ton, while export price for Russia was $ 708 in January September 2003.
