Tariffs for air navigational service for foreign air companies` planes in the Russian air space will increase 9% this year. This was reported by the head of the Federal Air Navigational Service Alexander Neradko today. According to his words, the second stage of negotiations with the International Association of Air Transport and foreign companies has already finished. The first stage was held in February of the current year. As for domestic air companies, they are about to face consultations about increasing tariffs for Russian air transporters too. “A two-three time increase will hardly affect the cost of flights for passengers or cargo transportations”, Alexander Neradko marks, and adds that the money are generally needed for improving the safety of flights.
