The company UCS has presented their new system of self-service called R-Keeper Self-Service for restaurants, bars, night clubs, and VIP-halls in St. Petersburg. The principle of the system’s work is simple – touch sensible monitors are set near the tables so that a customer can see the menu and choose the dishes they want. As the developers claim, the monitors are hit and water resistant; amongst the advantages of the system – the simplicity of updating photos of new dishes, and the absence of the need to reprint the menu. Besides, the developers are sure that the system will quicken the service in entertainment establishments as waiters will only have to bring the ordered dishes. One more function of R-Keeper Self-Service is that it can be used as an advertising vehicle – its monitor lets demonstrate video clips or informational messages.
