The sky above Moscow will turn into the arena for a grandiose pyrotechnic show on the International Day of Children protection, June 1. The participants of the 5th fireworks festival will present their programmes on the Frunzenskaya and Pushkinskaya embankments, and the main scenic points for public will be Krymsky and Andreevsky bridges. Five Russian professional pyrotechnic companies will take part in the festival. Laureates of the festival will get diplomas and money prize, and the winner will be given a statuette “Fireria”.
The first festival of fireworks was organized in Moscow in 2002, and at that time it was kind of a present to St. Petersburg citizens for the city’s 300th jubilee. Over a million of people have visited the festival during all 5 years of its history.
