The prime minister of Bavaria Edmund Stoiber is going to touch the point of signing a new cooperation agreement between Russia and EU during his meeting with president Vladimir Putin in Moscow. He declared it on Tuesday in Munich before his three-day visit to the Russian capital. Schteuber has pointed out close ties between the Russian Federation and EU and has named Germany "the engine" of these relations. The trip to Moscow will become the last Schteuber’s foreign visit as chief of Bavarian government. As in three months he retires.
