The Faceted Palace in Novgorod

In the course of exploration of the Faceted Palaces foundation in the Novgorod Kremlin restorers found fragments of an ancient street. The specialists preliminarily date the find XV century. Supposedly the street paved with flagstones went along the Faceted Palace to the north-eastern part of the Kremlin.
      The fragments of the street were found inside the modern building the Faceted Palace at a depth of about 70 centimeters (2.3 feet). The specialists believe the well-preserved fragments of the street may become a part of the museum exposition.
