New Wave to Open New Names

International Competition of Young Singers of Popular Music the New Wave" has been opened in Jurmala, Latvia. For the six years the Festival has become an important event in international music arena.
      
      In 2007 eighteen candidates from fourteen countries will take part in the competition. The young singers will compete in three contests My country Hit, World Hit, My Song. Except contestants lots of Russian and foreign top singers will perform on the stage of Dzintary Hall.
      
      For five years the New Wave has become a good start for young singers. Smash, Anastasia Stotskaya, Dima Bilan and Irina Dubtsova made their debute in Jurmala. The First premium the winner diploma and money reward of 50 000 USD were a good help for the future stars.
      
      Two legendary composers Igor Krutoy and Raimonds Pauls and prima Alla Pugachova are patronizing the Festival.
      
      The New Wave is held since July, 25 till July, 30.
