Turkey Beaches Use Abramovich Name for PR

Recently the Turkish business newspaper Referans has published an article reporting the intentions of Roman Abramovich to build a luxury Chelsea village in Cyprus for rich Russians. Now it is known that the information was fabricated.

John Mann, head of the press-service of Millhouse Capital the company representing the interests of Roman Abramovich, claims the article was entirely false. Such information was probably caused by a desire to advertise some regions for free using the name of a famous figure, John Mann comments the Turkish article.

Earlier the Referans wrote that Roman Abramovich, a Russian billionaire and the owner of Chelsea Football Club, was building a village with 225 villas in Cyprus that were supposed to be sold to rich Russians. The investments to the so-called Chelsea Village were estimated at US$30 million.
