One of the most popular Russian ski areas, Krasnaya Polyana, will soon be closer to tourists. The construction of a traffic tunnel on the mountain road Adler – Krasnaya Polyana is to be finished in summer 2005. It will make it possible to reach the famous ski area of the Krasnodarsky Region from Adler Airport in 30 minutes. The tunnel with total length of 2470 meters will have up-to-date equipment to help increase the safety of tourists.
