In the framework of events linked with the year of China in Russia Hong-Kong Week takes place in Moscow and is going to be the first wide-scale presentation of not only business opportunities but also the culture of this region.
      On September 25 a concert of the Chinese Orchestra of Hong-Kong for the first time took place at the chamber hall of the Moscow International Music House, and on September 27 the orchestra playing national musical instruments is to give a concert at the stage of the State Academic Chapel of St. Petersburg.
      The main element of the event, however, is the exposition “Style Hong-Kong” that is solemnly opening at the Central Exhibition Centre Manezh in Moscow on the 26th of September. Nearly 180 Hong-Kong companies – leading manufacturers of stylish clothing, accessories, bags, watches, souvenirs, electronics and gadgets are to participate in the exhibition.
      Also this week there will be launched a cycle of TV series about Hong-Kong shot with assistance of the local travel department.
