Russian dead rafters to pay Hilton price for Chinese mortuary

The bodies of the dead Russian rafters, Sergey and Ivan Chernik and Vladimir Smetannikov, are in the mortuary of the Chinese town Hotan since September 18. The Chinese side demanded ?22 thousands for their maintaining, what is about ?1000 a day. The bill is growing every day.
      Some Moscowites and Russian rafters have already addressed to the Russian Rowing Slalom Federation and suggested their help to the relatives.
      The Russian team of six rafters planed rafting down the Yurunkash River in the North-West of China since August 22 till September 2. But the sportsmen didnt come at the appointed time and place. The Russian and Chinese rescuers organized the search. As the result Sergey and Ivan Cherniks dead bodies were found on September 15, Vladimir Smetannikovs one a day later. The bodies were brought to the town Hotan for identification, where they are till now.
      Another two rafters, Alexander Zverev and Andrey Pautov were found alive. The rescuer team is still searching for the last rafter Dmitry Tischenko.
