Russia to Open Visa Centre in London

In the nearest months Russia is planning to open a visa centre in London, the UK, in order to help its consulate section of the Russian Embassy in London. This was reported by the deputy head of Russian Tourism Natela Shengelia at a briefing that took place on September 4.
According to Natela, in Great Britain there are a great number of people willing to visit Russia with the purpose of travel. As a result – the consulate section of the Russian Embassy faces long queues. A separate visa centre will speed up the process of getting Russian visa, and therefore, will increase the number of tourists from the United Kingdom to Russia.
It is needed to remind that visa centres do not hand visas but help consulates in collecting all required documents.
