Russia is planning to take part in privatization of Prague International Airport and the Czech state air carrier Czech Airlines in the nearest three years, according to chief of governmental staff of the RF Sergey Naryshkin.
Privatization of the Czech national air carrier is most likely to be held via Aeroflot as the company is interested in entering the European market.
The press-service of Aeroflot marks that the company is now examining Czech Airlines but not going to buy the air carrier straight at the moment.
The Czech government intends to sell Czech Airlines as soon as the air company regains profitability, which is possible no sooner than 2008, according to forecasts.
