International winter festival Hyperboreya 2005 in Karelia

The event has been initiated by representatives of all cities located on the 60th circle of latitude, where winter is the major season.
       The festival is to become a holiday for all the northerners. The guests of the festival will enjoy hyperborean games, art and entertainments. The festival program includes around 30 events: concerts, performances, exhibitions, dancing balls, sport contests and international snowmobile runs.
       All are welcome to participate in the contests for the best snowman and ice sculpture.
       The festival will last till the end of February.
