Ice Sculptures Festival in Yekaterinburg

Festival of ice sculptures City of the Future is opening in Yekaterinburg. 1.500 cubic metres of ice will be used for creation of mini copies of the objects that are planned to be built in the capital of the Urals in the nearest years. Besides, on the territory of the ice city there have already been set sculptures of the most famous buildings in Yekaterinburg. Amongst them is the building of the city administration, the circus dome, the entrance arch of the Central Park of Culture, the chapel of St. Catherine, and some other objects.
      
      The festival will be available to the Yekaterinburg citizens and guests of the city since December 28; this year entrance to the ice sculptures site will be free of charge.
