British Council Officers stop working

Today British Council Offices in St.Petersburg and Yekaterinburg are closed after hot disputes between Britain and Russia.

The St. Petersburg office was closed already yesterday evening, today it was off the whole day. The British Consulate General explained the reason with the fact that the Russian Council workers had been called for a discussion to the Russian power bodies.

The Yekaterinburg office workers had to leave their working places yesterday after the lunch break. Today the office was not opened.

January 15, British Council St. Petersburg Director Steven Kinnock, was detained for drunk driving. The British Consulate General confirms the fact saying it was just a glass of vine.
