Coach Inc, a leading American marketer of fine accessories and gifts in leather, plans to enter the Russian market. About 15 stores will be reportedly opened in the RF, as an attempt to build the business in a foreign country in view of falling consumption in the USA.
Coach maintains leading positions in the U.S. segment of luxurious women’s bags, wallets, purses and other accessories. The company rates second in Japan, surpassed by Louis Vuitton only.
Besides, the company is going to open 30 new stores apart from 49 already existent in China and expects 30% increase in revenues, up to $150 million, by 2010.
