A meeting of pilgrims who took part in Hajj - 2007 and representatives of the local authorities took place in Yekaterinburg. According to representatives of the Muslim community of the city, chairwoman of the regional department of the “Russian Islamic Heritage” has asked to introduce a special annual charter flight to Saudi Arabia from the international terminal of airport Koltsovo. They think that it would be very convenient for the Muslim believers, due to now they can get to Mecca only with multiple transfers.
      
      The local authorities have promised to help in solving this problem and say that technically it is possible because at the moment planes fly to 110 countries from Yekaterinburg.
