Monument to Theatre Lovers Set Up in Kaluga
Kaluga Regional Drama Theatre

The worlds first ever monument to theatre lovers has been set up by Kaluga Regional Drama Theatre.
      
      It is a bronze sculpture of a girl holding a placard that reads Have you got a spare ticket?
      
      Its author is Kaluga artist Svetlana Farnieva, a teacher of Kaluga Regional Culture College and a member of the Artists' Union of Russia. The sculpture has been cast at Mytishchi Art Castings Factory.
      
      
      The monument to the young theatre lover has been set up in Theatre Square in front of the Drama Theatre building. The unveiling ceremony is taking place today, April 2, marking the opening of the 3rd All-Russian Theatre Festival Oldest Theatres of Russia in Kaluga.
