Romanovs Dolls Displayed to Public

May 31 will see the opening of a unique exhibition of art china dolls from the collection of Anastasia Chizhova’s Gallery in Akhangelskoye Museum Estate, Moscow area.
      
      The highlight of the exposition consists of doll portrayals of the family of Nicholas the Second, Peter the Great, Cathering the Great and other outstanding figures of world history as well as classical literature characters. All the personages have been created by the world famous artist Olina Ventsel, honoured with the title of Museum Doll Maestro.
      
      Visitors will see unique exhibits: authentic dolls that belonged to the family of the last Russian Emperor, antique etchings, and exclusive works of the Rudolf Kampf manufactory.
      
      The exhibition is going to run all summer long.
