Austrian Construction Company Strabag is going to head consortium Nevsky Meridian, which won a tender on construction of 50 kilometres of roads round St Petersburg, Russia. The total amount of investments is over $5 billion.
      
      Among other participants of consortium there are such companies as Bouygues, Egis, Hochtief and Basic Element.
      
      Strabag officially reported the construction works are scheduled to begin in spring of 2009.
