The 5th international retro-rally “Golden Ring”, Russian analogue of the Italian Mille Miglia, goes of from Red Square in Moscow on the 5th of July. It is going to be the first time when Alfa Romeo Disco Volante from the Alfa Romeo museum in Milan participates in the rally.
      
      The rally path length is over 1200 kilometres. Only retro cars produced before 1978 are allowed to participate in the rally. The racers will follow the route of the Golden Ring cities of Russia. Over 40 teams from Russia, Italy, the Netherlands, Austria, Poland, Finland, and the USA are expected to become rally participants.
