Eminent physiologist Natalya Bekhtereva, granddaughter of world famous Russian scientist Vladimir Bekhterev, recently died in a hospital in Berlin.
      
      Research of Natalya Bekhtereva became the basis of crucially new treating techniques of nervous system pathologies. Unique investigations made her name famous all around the world. Eminent researcher got many high awards for neurophysiological studies of higher mental functions of human brain.
      
      Natalya Bekhtereva was born in Petrograd (now St. Petersburg) and worked in Polenov Science and Research Institute of Neurosurgery.
