British ambassador in Moscow hopes that two great countries will find ways of cooperation at G8 Summit in Hokkaido on July 7-9.
Sir Anthony Brenton, British ambassador in Moscow, hopes that the British Council will be reopened in Russia after the meeting of Russian President and British Prime Minister at the Summit.
Sir Brenton believes that the goal of the meeting is to create good friendly relations between the two leaders and to agree upon constructive bilateral actions. Some other countries will also use the opportunity to hold bilateral talk during the Summit.
‘There are some difficulties in Russian- British relations. But we, like great serious countries, should find the ways for cooperation. We hope the meeting will result in improving bilateral relations and in appearing the opportunity to open the British Council in Russian regions,’ said Sir Brenton.
