Today Russian cosmonauts plan to perform extravehicular activities, mainly aimed at disassembling old equipment and installing new scientific facilities on the surface of Russian segment of the International space station.
      
      Exit hatch of the docking compartment “Pier” will open at 21:08 Moscow time. Cosmonauts will spend about six hours out of the ISS.
      
      Planned activities are: installation of the target for providing docking for Russian research module, which is scheduled for launch for 2009; testing “Vsplesk (Splash)” equipment, developed for predicting earthquakes and taking first “Biorisk” container. “Biorisk” is an experiment, studying effects of space of various terrestrial microorganisms and substrates.
