Group of Islamic Extremists Detained in Ural

Three citizens of the Russian city of Chelyabinsk have been accused of plotting a terrorist attack and being members of the extremist organization Hizb ut-Tahrir al-Islami which is considered a terrorist group by a number of Central Asian countries and Russia.
      In the course of the legal search at the suspects` residences, the police found nine grenades, extremist literature, and photo shots of socially important objects and the state establishments of the city.
      According to the police, by spreading extremist agitation literature, the suspects tried to compass the locals to forced suppression of the current political and the state system.
