Russia is covered in US mass media very poorly

News about Russias events takes one of the lowest positions in the US mass media foreign coverage chart.
      Russia is even out of the top ten foreign countries which American printed and electronic mass media tell their audience about, reports Project for Excellence in Journalism.
      The research has shown that foreign coverage made up about 10.7% of all the news in the period since January 1 till July 20 2008. At that Russias share is only 1.9% out of this 10.7%.
      Among the fourteen countries the research is based on, Russia takes the 12th position after Cuba (2.2%) and before Lebanon (1.6%).
      The first countries the American people learn about are China (16,6%), Iraq (7,6%), and Myanmar(7,2%).
