Georgia couldn’t start military operation in unrecognized republic South Ossetia without the USA support, says Vladimir Vasilyev, the head of Russian State Duma Committee on Security.
Yesterday night Georgia started combat operations in Georgia- Ossetia conflict zone.
‘Georgia couldn’t act like this without American support,’ said Mr. Vasilyev at a press conference today. Referring to him, Georgian president Mikhail Saakashvilli has been building up the military budget for a long period of time. The country has been preparing for combat operations.
At the moment the most of the part of the Tskhinvali, Ossetia’s capital, has been destroyed, including the local State Hospital. The Ossetia’s authorities announce many victims among civilians and Russian peacekeepers.
