Moscow International Automobile Salon, which opens in the Russian capital today, is rated “A” together with similar events in Geneva, Paris, London, Detroit and Frankfurt. The salon welcomes visitors 12 hours a day for 13 days.
The event takes place in the “Crocus Expo” exhibition centre and consists of two parts. First one is the auto show itself, covering 63 thousand square meters and demonstrating world and European news cars, as well as gems of domestic car industry, and the second one is “Interauto” exhibition, which opens tomorrow, revealing the world of car components to its guests.
Among other exhibits this year the salon will show “Volga Siber”, new car of Nizhniy Novgorod plant, designed in cooperation with American Cadillac. Other premiers and concept cars come from Alfa-Romeo, BMW, Cadillac, Shevrolet, Ford, Chrysler, Hammer, FIAT, Honda, Hyundai, Infinity, Isuzu, Jaguar, Land Rover, Lexus, Mercedes, Nissan, Opel, Peugeot, Citroen, Renault, Toyota, Volkswagen, Volvo and etc.
Visitors are welcome to see future of world car industry from August 29. Tickets cost 300 rubles on weekdays and 400 rubles on weekends.
