In October Russian town of Dubna hosts X Scientific Conference “Digital Libraries: advanced methods and technologies; digital collections” – RCDL’2008.
      
      The conference is focused on semantic representation of information and knowledge in distributed and hybrid electronic libraries and scientific collections. Other discussion topics include ontological modeling and integration of heterogeneous resources.
      
      Participants will touch general issues of developing techniques for creation, analysis and search for text and multimedia data in storages. Plenty of time will be dedicated to digital collections of Russian researchers.
      
      Digital libraries are aimed at distribution, storage, search and analysis of digital data of various origins. Digital technologies are developing rapidly and require new solutions.
