Passengers disarm Turkish plane hijacker

Turkish media say a hijacker attempted to seize a Turkish plane over Belarus. The plane was on a flight to St. Petersburg.
      
      The hijacker said he had a bomb but was soon overpowered by passengers. Temel Kotil, Turkish Airlines CEO told journalists the passenger was drunk and the cabin crew confirmed that he was not armed.
      
      Earlier media reports said the plane, which took off from Antalya sent a hijack signal over the Black Sea. The plane has 167 passengers.
