Etihad Airways, the National Airline of the United Arab Emirates, is set to enter the Russian market by launching direct flights from Abu-Dhabi to Moscow on December 1.
      
      The first Russian office of the company will open in Moscow. Till the end of 2008 the price on economy class tickets will be 199 EUR, flying in business calss will cost 1500 EUR per person.
      
      Besides Russia, Etihad opened direct flights to Beijing, Kalkutta and Madras in India and Minsk in Byelorussia in 2008. Melburn in Australia and Lagos in Nigeria are in the company’s plans for 2009.
