French actress Marina Vlady, Vladimir Vysotsky’s widow, jointly with director Jean-Luc Tardieu has staged the play after her book Vladimir, or Broken Flight (Vladimir ou Le Vol Arrêté) (1987), and brings it to Moscow. The play will be performed in The Meyerhold Centre from 6 to 15 February. The play production was staged in 2006 in "Théâtre des Bouffes du Nord" in Paris.
In an interview for "Rossiiskaya Gazeta" Marina Vlady told that the performance lasts for 1 hour and 45 minutes, and is made up of 45 turns: "These are pieces of Volodya’s songs, which I sing in Russian. As for his poems I read them both in Russian and translated into French. There are my stories about our life with him, about the way met and loved each other, about the hardships we faced".
