The 27-year-old Andrei Arshavin, midfielder of Russian Zenit Football club, is leaving for Arsenal, reports BBC. The relevant agreement was signed yesterday, February the 2nd. The transfer fee (£12 million unofficially) will be revealed after official confirmation of the contract by the Premiere League, says Zenit representative Alexei Petrov.
British Sky News also reported the contract was signed referring to Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger.
Arshavin is believed to have agreed a three-and-a-half-year deal at Arsenal and could make his debut in this weekend's North London derby with Tottenham.
