A new 10 series documentary under the title “Justification of Gogol” about the life of the famous writer is about to come out.
      
      It is timed to coincide with the classic’s 200th anniversary that will be celebrated in April. In the course of shooting the film its authors visited many places, which were dear to the writer and related to important events of his life.
      
      The script was written by philologist Igor Zolotussky. Within a year the film crew jointly with Igor Zolotussky visited almost all the places associated with the name of Nikolai Gogol. The film creators define its genre as a feature documentary.
