Novorossiysk takes care of disabled swimmers

The city of Novorossiysk standing right on the coast of the Black Sea is going construction of a beach specially designed for physically challenged people. 4 300 thousand rubles ($123 000) from the city budget were used to make sunbathing and swimming of the disabled as comfortable as possible.
       The beach features special-purpose ramps for wheel-chairs to get easy access to the sea and equipped with necessary safety elements.
      The local administration plans to finish construction by May 20, 2009.
