Gogol Boulevard Exhibition Open in Moscow

The Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts, Moscow, invites to the exhibition Gogols Boulevard. Writers Artistic World in Documentary Monuments of the 19-20th Centuries.
      
      The exposition presents Nikolai Gogols rare autographs, personal paraphernalia and books, as well as Mark Chagalls illustrations to the poem Dead Souls, and scenery sketches for stage productions and films. Along with that the visitors will see costumes, photos and a video report from shooting of the last and the most large-scale film project after Gogols work, namely Taras Bulba to be released in April this year.
      
      The exhibition dedicated to Nikolai Gogols 200th anniversary runs till 18 May 2009.
