Lip-synching practice to be exposed
23.05.2005 00:00

The Culture Committee at the State Duma has drawn up an amendment to the Customer Protection Law obliging musicians to inform their audience whether the performance is a live one or the artist is going to lip-synch.

Vice speaker Lubov Sliska backed Alexander Rozenbaum in the move which is part of the global effort to put a lid on infringing products. Anyway, it is the performers responsibility and professional code to make the public aware of his intentions.
